John took Millie, my first golden retriever, at the age of 6 months with the humble goal of turning her into a reliable hunting retriever. To say my expectations were surpassed would be an understatement as they went on to attain her HRCH title at the age of 2 years old and her MH title at the age of 3 years old. John kept me up to date on her training progress with pictures and videos. Upon pick up I was given thorough instructions on how to properly handle my retriever. Griff was Born and Trained at Bayou Gundog receiving his Hunting Retriever Champion title at just 22 months old! John builds and breeds dogs with great attitudes that are born to perform like rockstars in the field and make great family dogs!
